‘RHOBH’ Star Kyle Richards Says Daughters “Not Very Upset” Over ‘Buying Beverly Hills’ Getting Canceled By Netflix

Kyle Richards is weighing in on the cancellation of Buying Beverly Hills, the Netflix reality series that starred her three daughters and estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.

The star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills opened up about fan outcry over the streamer’s decision not to renew the real estate show for a third season.

“The fans have been very upset about Buying Beverly Hills. So many people are like, ‘Why?’ I’ve seen articles about, ‘Why would they do that?’ So who knows? You never know what will happen with that,” Richards said during a recent Amazon Live broadcast.

Richards was featured during the second season of the Netflix show, which addressed Umansky’s marriage troubles. The series followed Umansky and his staff at The Agency, which included his daughters with Richards: Farrah Brittany, Alexia Umansky, and Sophia Umansky.

“They’re all businesswomen. They only care about business,” Richards said of her daughters’ priorities. “They found it very overwhelming to shoot Buying Beverly Hills. They came to me in tears so many times.

Richards noted that her daughters “never cared about being on TV,” saying that Alexia “was in tears one day just having to find three things to wear.” The Bravo star said that when their daughters learned about the show’s cancellation, “they were not very upset” about it.

“They would love it if it happened again, but they are very focused on selling real estate, so I’m proud of them for that,” she said.

Richards recently completed filming for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, and a new teaser showed her at the center of the drama.
