Paul Zbyszewski, ‘Snowpiercer’ Showrunner, Signs With Independent Artist Group

EXCLUSIVE: Paul Zbyszewski, a two-time Emmy nominated series creator, showrunner, writer and producer, has signed with Independent Artist Group for representation.

Most recently, Zbyszewski served as showrunner and exec producer for the final season of Snowpiercer, the dystopian sci-fi series based on Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 film of the same name, which was itself adapted from the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where Earth has become a frozen wasteland, and the remnants of humanity survive aboard a perpetually moving train that circles the globe, the show ran on TNT for its first three seasons before moving to AMC and AMC+ for its final run of episodes.

Garnering his pair of Emmy nominations for his work as part of the writing and producing team on ABC’s Lost, Zbyszewski has also worked on series like Hawaii Five-0, and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He created the thriller Day Break for ABC and created and showran Marvel Television’s Helstrom, which ran for two seasons on Hulu.

Previously, Zbyszewski also co-wrote the film After the Sunset, a 2004 action comedy starring Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek, and Woody Harrelson. He continues to be represented by Chris Pollack and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole LLP.
